Chasing Brooklyn

The book I'm readig is called Chasing Brooklyn by Lisa Schroedern. I haven't gotten that far in it yet. But it's a pretty good book so far. It's about a girl named Brooklyn. Brooklyn can't sleep. Her boyfriend, Lucca, died only a year ago, and now her friend Gabe has just died of an overdose. Every time she closes her eyes, Gabe's ghost is there waiting for her. She has no idea what he wants or why it isn't Lucca visiting her dreams. And Luccas brother Nico is having weird stuff happening to him and he thinks that Lucca has been visiting him in his sleep and telling him to help Brooklyn. So Nico reaches out to Brooklyn and gets her to start training for this marathon that he's doing, she agrees. They both think it's a great way to keep things off of their mind.

Jace goes to the book store to return what he stole and to ask for a job there, he gets it. Then his brother takes him shopping. Jace starts school, he's excited because he finally gets to start with a clean slate. He goes to soccer practice scores on one of the best players, and now he's on varsity.

Split

The book I'm reading is called Split by: Swati Avasthi. It is about a 16 year old boy Jace Witherspoon who runs away from his abusive home to his brother Christian's who ran away from home along time ago.
Christian ran away because he was tired of his father hitting him and his mother.. Jace never knew where Christian was, until one day Jace came home and seen Q-tips and he knows that his mom uses the q-tips after she has been raped by his dad. So that was the breaking point, he was tired of his father. They got in a really big fight and Jace left. While leaving his mom gave him an envelope with some money and Christians address.Jace arrived Christians the st things that Christian said was "Is she dead yet" talking about their mother.
